***warning: long post, lots of pics!!!!!***
December is almost over and what a month i have had. it was one filled with tears of both sadness and frustration along with joy and laughter-i was simply overwhelmed with my thoughts and emotions this month. i don't know if that makes sense or not, but it was an exhausting month, trying to juggle this new overnight schedule i have with all the birthdays and events we had planned. I'm blessed to have such a wonderful hubby to be so supportive and helpful...not to mention how blessed i am to have such amazing parents and sister (& family). i can't imagine not having them around!!!!!
i spent the first part of Christmas day working at the hospital. i was a pleasure to be there although my heart broke for some of the patients who were saddened by spending their holiday in pain instead of in their warm homes with the family. after that i went home to finish wrapping and then spent the rest of the day with our families. everything was fantastic and topped off perfectly with a good night's rest. this was the first Christmas i didn't get a card or call from my godmother-i miss her so much it's indescribable.
my crafting mojo came to a halt when i started working. i found the strength in our empty pockets to make everyone gifts this year, well almost everyone. i pulled out all of my scrappy goods-new & old and i created a year long journal/album-actually i created 2 of them. this one in particular was for my sister
Margie, the other went to my sister-in-law Erin. i love the idea and am getting started on one for me too :) i also created 4 frames and 2 other mini albums-i'm so happy to report that everyone loved their gifts!!!!!
hope you all had a very merry holiday!!!!!

Are you willing to believe that love is the strongest thing in the world - stronger than hate, stronger than evil, stronger than death - and that the blessed life which began in Bethlehem nineteen hundred years ago is the image and brightness of the Eternal Love? Then you can keep Christmas.
