another perk about living in

an apartment complex-

no one knows when the dryer

breaks and then you have to

wait forever for a repairman!

boo!

it's so fun hanging the

laundry around the

small apartment lol-

thank goodness for

the banister.

i love our apartment

and am very grateful

for all that we have,

it's just frustrating at times.

so all of my pic frames & deco's

were pushed to the side on my,

well, our entertainment center

only to be replaced by this...

a championship football.

no not an original-had it been i

would have made it a point to

display-this is the one he received

for his fantasy football league lol.

needless to say, i'm working on

1 room at a time to do a little

remodel on our apartment and

decided that the entertainment

center is going to be his "man spot".

all of his things-ps3, games,

autographs, memorabilia & sport

pics, etc... will be displayed here.

i'll compromise with that,

especially since my creative messes

are never an issue for him :)

it's been far too long since i've hung out

with my unity stamps and since i've

recently rediscovered it's awesome-ness,

here are my creations:

i pulled out some much loved dp

from k&co. to make both frames.

wood frames were

purchased at ikea :)

i decided to do a little "remodeling"

in our teeny living room and

organized our entertainment center

so that the center main shelf

will highlight the current holiday/

seasonal decorations.

these frames are clearly for

Valentine's day :)

snow! snow! snow!

just sharing a few pics i took early this am

of last nights snow storm.

it was snowing, hailing, raining and

was soooooooo very windy!!!!!

i took this pic standing in front of

the walk way to our apartment

(our apartment is on the right)

i really love this pic-it's my favy!

thank goodness by the time i got home

from work, around 8am est, that the

maintenance peeps already shoveled

the 15" of snow to the sides-

usually this is such an issue!

this pic is the the side view between

a my unit and the parking lot of

the apartments we live in.

i love that i caught that little bird house!

mr. riley james sure enjoyed himself

playing in the snow-we were outside

for a little over 1/2 hour running

and throwing snow balls-

i did most of the throwing lol :)

worst part about living in an apt complex

when it snows and they are too cheap to

have actual rock salt to put down-

even though we pay a bazillion $'s in rent.

they use freakin' dirt.

my poor little mini vac is getting

abused this season.

did i mention i love my 15 steps

to enter our apartment, oh i do.

our xmas tree is still

butt naked in our living room.

i'm going to try to make

a real effort to get it done by Fri.

just falling in a lazy funk again lol.

it's cold outside, i had over 20hrs OT

the past 2 weeks and finally had a

day off last night. yesterday we spent

with my godmothers family,

may she rest in peace. i'm truly blessed

to have such amazing people in my life.

i also had 3 dr.'s appt.'s between Fri and

this morning-now we sit for 2 wks and

pray for super spectacular news-i hope!

tonight i will be eating left overs at mom's,

playing mario w DH and taking a nap

before work at 10pm :)

i'll be back tomorrow with some new

LO's i've been working on for challenges
