Today I went to visit my scrappy friends at our monthly Scrapbook PTA Fundraiser.

It's been 4 months and i'm so happy it's back!

Today I hoped that my Aunt Debbie (Sean's Aunt) finds peace and comfort knowing that Grandpa is safe in the hands of God now. That he is safe, at peace and watching over us know.

Today I dreamed of winning the lotto. I love my little day dreams. They keep me going :)

Today I forgot something. I know there is something but I probably forgot ha! Go figure.

Today I heard my neighbors having an awful argument :( Such cruel words should never be spoken to the one you supposedly love.

Today I read some amazing blog posts. I've been playing catch up today :)

Today I watched the Amelia Erhardt. Good stuff.

Today I said "I'm going to pray more."

Today I believed that change is always possible.

Today I felt good that I have accomplished so much. I've been stressing how much I haven't accomplished-good thing the accomplished things in my life out number those bad guys!

Today I wondered what it would be like to win a race. It's something I've always wanted to do-well at least participate in one successfully.

Today I bought adhesive for my tape glider.

Today I cleaned the kitchen-well...I did put the dishes in the dish washer. I'm counting that one :)

dear diary...

hi everyone. i'm back after a long week. this past wednesday we had to say goodbye to grandpa Joe. he passed away on saturday afternoon after technical difficulties he suffered after a stroke he had this past august. grandpa joe was sean's step dad's father and although not by blood-he was an amazing grandpa to us both and he will be missed. he was the type of guy who just made the room comfortable-kind of like jasper from twilight lol-he'd probably laugh at that one! he was an electrolux salesman-who on the worst of days had no sales but always had a positive outlook- i didn't make any sales this week, but i have 15 new calls next week. i'm definitely keeping that motto. did i mention he had great hair!? grandpa joe i love you and we will always remember you.

Sean: Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Favorite way we’ve spent your birthday:
Sean: my favy dinner spot and snuggling after, how sweet!
Sara: mine is the same...we always keep it low key and it's always just perfect :)

Quirk of mine that makes you laugh the most:
Sean: when you snort while laughing
Sara: when you crack yourself up before even getting to the punch line

Quality you most admire in me:
Sean: your kindness and love you share with everyone
Sara: your determination and your humor, always making me laugh

Favorite way I interact with our little Riley (our dog):
Sean: when you and Riley play and when Riley talks back to you, it's pretty funny
Sara: when you put your fleece blanket on and make room for his favy spot between your legs lol

Favorite weekend activity we do together:
Sean: i like our morning breakfasts, last one on the balcony of our apt was my favorite
Sara: i second the breakfast and snuggling when i get home from work at 8am

Sean: a house

Least favorite music that I listen to:
Sean: house music, unecessary repetitiveness drives me crazy lol
Sara: the scary sounding heavy metal, i'm okay when i can understand it but when it sounds like a horror film soundtrack, i get a little worried lol.

Favorite thing I cook:
Sean: sausage lasagna
Sara: bourbon brown sugar steaks, yum!!!

Favorite band that I introduced you to:
Sean: p.o.d.
Sara: tool

Favorite thing about my family:
Sean: they're very caring and always there for everyone.
Sara: they are fun and easy going-i'm blessed!

Favorite childhood story of mine:
Sean: when you would record yourself selling dinosaurs and we played it back
Sara: the time you screamed like a little girl in bed while a spider crawled down to you

Sean: my sister shannon.
Sara: your dad.

First memory of me:
Sean: sitting on the couch at my house on callan lane, i recall you were dating my roommate
Sara: yikes, that outie belly button lol-long story, needless to say i got over it and we're happily married, 5 years in the making :)

dear diary...

I'm feeling...sooooo sleepy, just got home from work a little while ago.

i'm wearing...my comfy fall clothes finally, gap sweats w/ loose old navy sweatshirt,

the cute kind that hangs off your shoulders :) and of course my fuzzy house boots.

I'm seeing...not so clearly. waiting for contacts to arrive and my

glasses are bothering me so i'm squinting lol.

I'm thinking...i cannot wait to get back to zumba, cycling and

my running program tonight! woo hoo!!!!!

I'm wondering...what kind of mini albums would sell best for the

craft fair coming up this November...suggestions are welcome :)

i'm drinking...tropicana orange juice

i'm wanting...a new wardrobe for this fall/winter season,

can't wait to hit up the thrift shops soon!!!!!

I'm hearing...Ann Curry talk about Ellen, love them both!

I'm considering...staying awake a few hours so i can wake up

just in time to hit the gym with dad before work-i'm def going to be tired tonight lol!

I'm creating...in my friendship journal for one of my friendsies and

trying to finish up my Aruba album :) wish i was there now!!!!

I'm worrying...about everything, still, what else is new hahaha.

I'm linking...nothing at the moment, surprising i know lol!

I'm leaving...for a long walk with my pup in a few.

I'm reading...book #1 of the sookie stackhouse novels and

re-reading the twilight saga in preparation for the release of Breaking Dawn next mo.!

I'm also thinking...if i'm going to go 100% gluten free or not,

not just for a health kick, but a suggestion from my dr. in the baby making dept.

the weather is...the perfect fall day, my favorite!

And lastly, I'm inspired...by the amazing people in my life. love you all :)

est. 1992 Album, a few challenges and one happy chickie!

fyi-this is a long post with lots of lovely crafty pics :)

this past saturday was quite a crafty-busy one!

it was so much fun! it was also WCMD and guess what,

not one card was created by me, instead i created

a 32 page 8 1/2 x 11 album for my sister in law's b'day gift

and i got to give it to her this morning :)

take a peek at the book. it's all about her favorite band: BUSH.

i included pics of the band, of course one of her, their #1 fan,

spaces for her to journal, include her own pics and of course

to include all the little memorabilia-ticket stubs, etc.

as an added bonus, i purchased some actual BUSH sheet music

to complete this grunge album.

i'm definitely impressed with this one myself lol.

in less than 6hrs. i managed to create this complete album!

of course it looks better in person,

hopefully you'll get the gist of it with my pics,

i did the best i could taking them with one eye open

and only 4 hrs of sleep since thursday lol :)
