dear diary...

(11/24/11 Thanksgiving Day at my In-Laws w/ hubby)

I'm feeling...pretty good. I can eat normal food,

walk down the stairs and get around pretty easy.

a few pains here and there but i'm looking forward to driving again.

i'm wearing...an old navy boyfriend tee with gray gap sweats, so cozy :)

I'm seeing...still, a pile of flash cards to keep on reviewing,

test is in 15 days and i'm super nervous!!!!!

I'm thinking...about when my hubby's car is going to get fixed

I'm wondering...what i should wear next Wed.

mom & dad got the whole family tickets to radio city's

christmas show spectacular, dinner and a limo as our

christmas gift and i cannot wait!!!!!

i'm drinking...delishy iced tea hubby made, yum!

i'm wanting...to go see Breaking Dawn so very badly,

she's on vaca next week so the (5) of us can go-

jen, margie, mom, aunt debbie and i! can't wait!

I'm hearing...the Civil Wars, a great band that i can't get enough of,

so sad that i missed their show this past month in nyc :(

hopefully they'll come back around soon!

I'm considering...searching for a new specialist doctor,

got some unexpected news from my surgeon/dr. and now i'm hmmm-ing everything.

I'm creating...my december daily this week, photo holiday cards,

finishing my Aruba and Wedding Album-lol, we'll see how far I get :)

I'm worrying...about a lot right now. thank goodness i can still find guidance & peace

from my loved ones and prayer.

I'm linking...still like crazy on pinterest lol, i just love

the fun and unique stuffies everyone shares!!!!!

I'm leaving...a lot of things behind and just letting go.

things happen for a reason and it is what it is.

as long as i'm happy and at peace with everything, it's all good :)

maybe it's just not the time to try and read this lol!

I'm also thinking...i can't wait to hang out with my nephews this weekend,

i miss hanging out with them all the time!!

the weather is...chilly, i love getting cozy with my blankies!

And lastly, I'm inspired...by some amazingly creative peeps i've been checking out!

ps-i'll be back tomorrow with some projects and layouts i've been working on. thank goodness for scrapbooking-a hobby i love and can just sit and do without having to move around too much :) hopefully i will have some crafty peeps over saturday night to scrap away with-friday night

I'm feeling...a little better, still bloated and feeling pain,

but each day it keeps getting better.

i'm wearing...a white boyfriend tee from old navy and gap sweats

I'm seeing...a pile flash cards that need to be reviewed

for my test coming up in December!

I'm thinking...i have a great husband, parents and sissy

who have been taking care of me- hubby even made me

egg whites and turkey on whole honey wheat bread this am :)

I'm wondering...what is on the agenda for today,

duh...of course i'm going to be crafting away,

not much else i can do any how-i can only watch so much

tv, but i'm tired of this bed-watch out everyone, i'm moving to the chair!

i'm drinking...apple juice on ice, whew!

i'm wanting...to go see Breaking Dawn with my BF,

still another while before i can stay sitting that long though :(

I'm hearing...espn tv my hubby left on in the back ground,

if i could bend over to pick up the remote, i would so change the channel,

right now i can't reach the tv or the remote so i'm stuck listening to stats lol.

I'm considering...what kind of mini vaca me and hubby can take this year,

i'm using up most of my time now because of the surgery, so it looks like

Aruba is not looking good :(

I'm creating...an album with my Aunt In Law today,

i started it a while ago and now i'm guiding her to finish :)

I'm worrying...about my follow up appointment.

i'm a total chicken when it comes to poking and prodding

especially after surgery.

dr: "does it hurt here?"

me: "um...yes, probably because that is one of the 4 spots

ya sliced and diced me dope."

lol, i just haven't been feeling great the past week and a half,

i even pushed the books aside :(

I'm also thinking...i cannot wait to be able to get out of this apt!

it's been 2 1/2 days and i'm still not allowed down the stairs-

not that i have anywhere to go but when you are limited,

somehow you have to be everywhere lol!

the weather is...a typical fall day-cloudy, breezy, leafy,

i actually love it and have the windows open.

And lastly, I'm inspired...by the amazing family i have.

without them, i am nothing :) love you all

ps- now that i can sit up at my desk at least and walk short distances,

to my craft table, to the kitchen, to the bathroom and back,

the blogging and crafting is on since i'm not allowed back to work

for the next 4-5 weeks. ay ya yay! :0)

I'm feeling...sooooo tired but I can't sleep.

i'm wearing...a soft white v-neck sleep shirt w/ flannel jammie bottoms

I'm seeing...gall bladder removal in the near future :(

I'm thinking...i work with some pretty awesome peeps,

i had a gall bladder attack at midnight and thank goodness

i was already at the hospital-it was awful!!!!!!!!!!

was it a full moon!?

I'm wondering...what I want to eat, still feeling nauseous

i'm drinking...ginger ale.

i'm wanting...to go shopping at the thrift shop tomorrow,

hope i'm feeling better to make a little trip-huge sale!!!!!

I'm hearing...Harry Potter in the background, can't get enough!

I'm considering...what to do this weekend,

again, I hope i'm feeling better!

I'm creating...in my friendship journal for one of my friendsies and

finishing up 2- 12x12 albums for my FIL and AIL :)

I'm worrying...about surgery-I never had to before :(

i'm a big scaredy cat too no matter how safe the surgery is.

the weather is...a bit gloomy, misty and rainy. perfect for some z's though!

30 days of gratitude manana because i'm just not up to it.

dear diary...

i'm not going to lie,

i have completely neglected my blog.

i have been a crafting nut and just

haven't been sharing-tsk! tsk!

saying goodbye to my Padrino at the end of Aug

and now saying goodbye to Grandpa this past Oct

has really taken a toll on me and the family.

it gets a little easier to accept it as the days go on,

but missing them hurts my heart.

there will always be a little space missing in there.

i have been working on 2- 12x12 albums

for my FIL and AIL- i created vintage style photo albums

with all of their childhood and family pics before

the current family that is now existed.

i must say they are almost complete and looking fab!

after that, the gift giving is done lol.

i have 1 mini altered chipboard album that i have done for myself

and for a while i'm going to concentrate on scrapping for myself.

we always crack up when people are like, let me see your albums

and i have nothing to share except pics of gifts or this little mini lol!

so now i found 30 days of gratitude photo challenge

and even though i started a little late,

you should always have gratitude for everything.

i'm going to start my daily posting tomorrow so stay tuned!

did i mention that work is nothing short of fabulous,

the over night shift is kind of stinky, but needless to say, i love it.

i think i'm going to be a sitting duck for a while-

besides, it helps me catch up on my reading during break time.

EMT-B exam coming up mid-december lol! wish me luck!
