dear diary...

time/location : 5:21 PM, est
eating/drinking :  nothing but i'm hungry!  going to meet hubby for a date in a few
loving : my family.  they are the glue to my life and I wouldn't trade them for the world!

My Abuela, laid to rest just last week.  Que descanse en pas, ahora con Abuelo.

feeling :  sad.  we had to say goodbye to my Abuelita quierida last week.  I really have a hard time with these things.  we lost her quite a few years ago to Alzheimer's but it's never easy.  she was an amazing, strong woman and I hope that I can have that strength as well to live like she did.  I must say that we were truly blessed to have her in our lives and I will never forget her.  I pray that she is now at peace and watching over us, until we meet again.

Abuela lived with us for a while when I was a kid-it was the best!

enjoying : the beautiful weather we have been having.  a little rain here and there but it's great!

Car ride home from work this am (745am, est)
The sun was shining bright but it ended up clouding over and raining-ahh...the joys of spring lol.

wanting : to get some Cold Stone tonight, it makes me feel better :)
needing : to finish my new blog look & pre-post for June-it's gonna be a busy month!!!!!
cleaning: our bedroom, mom & dad are moving to a new apt. and I was lucky enough to get a new dresser & side table.  i'm also reorganizing my scrap space and getting my projects ready for this Saturday's crop!  it's going to be a fun one!
hoping :  for a new change super soon!
thinking :  about where I am at in my life right now, reflecting.  i'm going to be 31 next week and am a little depressed about it so with inspiration from Jenny-i'm making a list and checking it twice of everything I am grateful for and my 32 before I'm 32 bucket list :)
creating:  the final touches for my Joy's Life LO-stop on by tomorrow to check it out!
missing:  some special people.  I can only be thankful for having them in my life and grateful for what they have taught me in the time we had together.
reading:  Wuthering Heights by H.P. Mallory

excited:  that I got to meet Alan from Lifestyle Crafts at last Saturday's crop- I even won a bunch of their products and got to do a little make n take with him!  woot!  thanks to Cindy & Angelique for having him over at the Arts N Scraps crop!!!!  <3 u ladies!  (what a cutie, right!?)

me with Alan from Lifestyle Crafts-pardon the look, i'm sporting the scrappin' style :)

lookingthrough pics from back in the day and organizing them-some shall be shelved and others shall be scrapped-what a hard decision!!!!!  also, i'm looking a little different these days! I colored & cut my own hairs-the color didn't work so much but I do have red highlights and the bangs are back my friends!
returning: my library books from eon's ago-yikes!

trying : to finish up Wuthering Heights-I started this a while ago and just haven't had the mind set to finish this one up!  I did finish the BDB series, up to book 10 and I hope there are 10 more!  the anticipation of finding out what happens next is killing me!!!!
starting: to write my very first book review for this month so stay tuned!!!!!

Field Day at my oldest Nephews school-it was the perfect day!

excitedto attend my nephew's Field Day tomorrow!  last week was the oldest one's FD and it was so much fun-I loved seeing how proud they are!  of course, pics to come!
