Halloween Tag Cards with Joy's Life

It's almost Halloween!  I know, i'm rushing things a bit here...the kiddos are just getting back to school!  At least i'm not like Michael's with aisles of Holiday goodies already-sheesh!  This week the Joy's Life Design Team is re-introducing those Oldies but Goodies stamp sets.  One of my all time favorite oldies is Halloween Puns.  Check out the set of card-tags I created to celebrate almost-Halloween:

To create this card-tag simply cut black cardstock to 4 x 3".  Round punch the corners.  For the next layer I used a peach cardstock cut to 3 3/4" x 2 3/4".  I ran it through the Cuttlebug using the Distress Stripes (top) and Flourishes (bottom) embossing folder.  Round punch the corners and ink with Orange.  The next layer is a scrap piece of metallic mesh.  I have (3) 1/2" strips layered to the left (green cardstock, black tissue paper and black plastic mesh).  Next I added my sentiment and added a few pieces of B&W twine to the top.  The final touch-bats using Martha Stewarts bat punch!  Wha-la, you're all done :)

Here is a peek at Halloween Puns:

Happy Scrappin'!!!!!
