Happy Belated Blogaversary to me!!!

***THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND FRIENDSHIP!  THE 2 WINNERS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED AND CONTACTED :) ***

This Month I am celebrating my 2nd year blogging under Chronicles of Sarita!  I can't believe that I have actually written 424 posts, not including this one...it is definitely quite an accomplishment for me!
(07/2012)

I am truly blessed to have found such amazing people to connect with via my blog, the awesome design teams that I am on and through simply scrapbooking and reading-two of my favorite things to do!  It doesn't get any better than this my friends!

I have also learned a lot while on this blogging adventure...

-have fun doing what you love, making it into a job will only drain you
-the importance of journaling, I am able to express myself better
-the importance of capturing little moments with the camera, not just the big ones; in the end they will matter just as much
-reconnecting with family, blood related or not, makes the world go round.  embracing the life around you is what is important while remembering those who have passed.
-always keep positive & be happy with yourself.  no one can bring you down unless you are the one letting them.
-new techniques are not scary, just do it and you will fall in love with the new!
-my fellow blogging peeps are amazing and I just love the supportive comments left on my posts.  I welcome opinions and suggestions with open arms.  the friendships I have made are irreplaceable, online and offline.

To say thank you to all my supporters and followers of this blog, of course I am having a giveaway!!!!!  There will be 2 lucky winners...

the first winner will receive a $25.00 Gift Card
to Michaels because I love to scrap

Daddy's Little Girl, a Momenta DT Layout

Happy Monday everyone!  I'm here with a Momenta DT Layout to share with you.  I definitely mixed and matched a few of my favorite pieces to come up with this one:

This is an 8x8 layout, another addition to my Childhood Album.  Me & my pops back in the day- summer of 1985 when I was just about 5 years old to be exact :)  Needless to say, i'm still Daddy's little girl!  The best thing about the Momenta pyramid paper pads is the variety of sizes you get to play with.  Of course the cardstock is double sided and the patterns are a lot of fun.

Momenta product used:
6x6 Paper Pyramid Doodle Flower (17374)
12x12 Pyramid Pad Vacation (PA-2389)
Quote Pad Born To Be Wild-Girl (ST-1753)

other product used:
Prima Rosette Strip (Gray)
Doodlebug Yellow & White Ribbon
Basic Grey (Felt Circles)
"Remember This Moment" Stamp (Ali Edwards)
Fiskars Heart Punch

Here is a close up to check out the "Daddy's little girl" sticker from the Born To Be Wild (Girl) Quote Pad.  They are so cute and great for adding as a title or journaling for any project.  The Quote Pad comes with over 100 pieces and it also has coordinating product!  Stop on by HERE to do a little shopping :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and
be sure to stop on by the DT blog to

BOO! A Joy's Life DT Project

**please accept my apologies for the late post!**

Hi there everyone!  Sarabeth from Chronicles of Sarita here today to share with you a card I created.  The theme this week for the DT was to create a shaped card!  I love the Fall and Halloween will be here before you know it so I decided on a Ghost shaped card using the BOO! stamp found in Joy's Life Halloween Puns Stamp set.  Here it is:

I just love creating cards, ATC's, banners, etc. for Halloween!  It's just so much fun and it definitely brings me back to that happy place when I was a kiddo myself :)  I'm hoping my nephews like these cards so that I can make some more for their classmates!  If you enjoy making Halloween crafts, be sure to grab your set of Halloween Puns because it will be perfect!
