Joy's Life Mini Book Blog Hop!

Hi there everyone!  If you have arrived here from Debbie's blog, then you are on the right track!  To start at the top of the hop line up, click HERE and hop away!  I went real mini and created a 4" x 4" mini book using just 1 piece of 12x12 paper, accordian style for the base.  Check it out:

close up of Joy's Life Stamp used on cover:

I used Black & White pics along with Basic Grey's Clippings Collection
to share a handful of the special people in my life <3>

I love creating Mini Books, currently I have about 8 of them in a large
basket on a corner table in my living room and I'm happy to report
that everyone-even the "guys" that come over to play PS3 with the Mr.
seem to enjoy looking at them over and over again!!!!!

Where do you store your minis?
What type of minis are your favorites to create or
do you prefer to work in 12x12 albums?

Please share!  I'm always up for new ideas :)

Materials used:
Basic Grey (Clippings)
Joy's Life Stamps (Lucky Me Having You In My Life,
I Love You, Best Friends)
Black Archival Ink
Misc.- Staples, Notebook Paper,
Metallic Sequins Sheet

The next stop on the hop is Lori!  Thanks for your lovely comments in advance and happy hopping to YOU!

  1. I like that you used black and white pictures. Then color options . . .well, there is no end to your options. I like doing 8x8 layouts, but prefer 12x12.

  6. Fun mini! Thanks for sharing! I make mini albums more and more--but end up giving them away! They make great crafty and affordable gifts. I recently made one out of chipboard coasters I got from the dollar store--they are shaped and printed to look like a sandwich. I'm keeping this one to put pics of our family enjoying some good times--picnics, field trips, etc.

  12. Sarabeth,
You blow my mind! I'm so impressed and inspired by your mini book. Something you said in your post really made me think...that you keep your mini books in a basket and even the PS3 pals are looking at them. I think I'll make some more minis and display them in a basket for everyone to see too. That sounds like such fun and a wonderful way to craft and share. Thanks for being part of the Mini Book Blog Hop!
    Super Hugs,
    ~Joy~

  16. Very cute and hard to believe it was made with one piece of cardstock. I have figured out how to fold one of these but haven't had time to decorate it.
