Time for another Joy's Life blog hop!
This time around we are creating 3D or special card fold creations
keeping Animals in mind! If you have arrived here from
Patty's blog- Crafty Kitten 1, then you're on the right track!
To start at the top of the hop, click HERE.
I created a Note Holder Card featuring the Joy's Life stamp:
Check it out:
Here is a close up of the lovely stamp:
Here is what the inside looks like:
If you turn it on it's side, it could also alter into a handbag of sorts :)
Directions:
-cut 1 piece of cardstock 5 x 12"
-cut 2 pieces of cardstock 2 3/4 x 5 3/4"
-score 5x12 cardstock at 5 1/2" and at 6 1/2"
(use a corner punch if desired,
I rounded all of my corners)
-after folded, punch through both of the top layers
to create your handle
-decorate outside as desired
-score smaller pieces on 3 sides at 1/4" and 1/2"
-cut off squares at the bottom corners
-adhere score tape to outer edges of 3 sides scored
-fold and attach pockets to inside of card pouch
-I added the ribbon on the outside and threaded inwards
so that I was able to adhere it to the card (it's easier to open)
-the little pockets fit 4 1/2 x 4" note sheets, gift cards, etc...
-you made adjust the widths to fit what you'd like :)
Materials:
Bazzil Cardstock (Green)
Recollections Cardstock (Light & Lime Green)
For the Record 2- Echo Park (Patterned Paper)
Misc Black Lace Ribbon
Noah's ABC Animals Cricut Cartridge (Deer 2)
